The Hike

The day of the boat we ate at the Cheesecake Factory in Waiaki. The next day we did the Old Pali Hike. It started at the Pali Lookout and was easy at first and paved. We then had to go under the current Pali Highway. At the point where we hit the unpaved trail Megan's comment was, 'Do you have bug spray, I don't want to get dengue fever". :) It was a nice hike that ended at a small water fall. The eleveation changes was 500 feet, not bad going down or but was a bit tiring on the way back.

Boat & Dolphins

We took the boat out on Wednesday morning, Megan and Tom's first day here. We were up at 3:30 a.m. and left the dock at 5:40 a.m. We trolled for a bit and had no hits but at one point both the guys had to relieve themselves over the side and Megan and I were driving and all of a sudden the line went BZZZZ with a hit. Megan and I laughed so hard. They went to bring it in but apperently lost it . Steve thinks it was a Ono. We then stopped in Waikiki and swam a bit and when we were leaving Waikiki we came across a pod of about 50-60 dolphins. We did about 6 runs by them. They were playing in front of the boat and a few even jumped and spun. So cool!

my bathroom tiles

The bottom tile is going to be the floor tile, it is 12 x 12. The darker smaller 6 x6 tile will be the shower surround. Wewill also get edge pieces to be a decorative corner on the shelf that will be in the shower. I had hoped to find a tile that had a complementary smaller tile for accents.. but those tiles would've cost us close to 500 bucks JUST for the shower. These were much more reasonable. The shower tiles came to 150.00 and the floor tiles were only about 50.

I am a little worried that the shower tiles are too dark. but the next shade lighter was too close of a match with the floor tiles. Opinions anyone ?
